Cyanote

Notes, tasks, habits and a clipboard manager, bought once

About Cyanote

Cyanote is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that puts notes, to-dos, a calendar, habits and a clipboard manager in one window. Notes use a block editor with sub-pages and a slash menu. To-dos have priorities, due dates and reminders, plus a Kanban board. There is a calendar with a Today view, habits and routines with streaks, a system-wide clipboard history, password-locked notes, floating quick notes, and fifteen themes with an optional translucent Glass look. Everything is stored in a SQLite file on your own computer. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no analytics or telemetry in the app. It is built with Rust and Tauri, not Electron. $7.99 once, no subscription. The Mac version (macOS 12 or later, universal, signed and notarized by Apple) is sold at cyanote.app and asks once for the licence key from your purchase email. The Windows version (Windows 10 or later) is sold on the Microsoft Store. They are separate purchases.

What Cyanote is used for

  • Keeping notes, to-dos and a calendar in one place instead of three apps.
  • Tracking daily habits and morning routines with streaks.
  • Finding something you copied last week in the clipboard history.
  • Writing private notes that stay on your own computer, with a password on the sensitive ones.
  • Jotting a quick note from any app without switching windows.

I make Cyanote. I wanted notes, tasks, habits and my clipboard in one app that keeps everything on my own computer. $7.99 once; Mac and Windows are separate purchases. What's missing?
