Terms of
Rules for using Nick Launches, submitting products, selecting free or premium launch plans, buying the directory submission service, and participating in the community.
Using Nick Launches
Nick Launches is a curated product launch platform. You may browse public listings without an account, but submitting products, selecting plans, voting, commenting, or using maker tools may require sign-in.
Accounts
- You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in methods secure.
- You must provide accurate information and only use accounts or identities you are authorized to use.
- We may limit, suspend, or remove accounts that abuse the service, evade moderation, spam, or violate these terms.
Newsletter on sign up
When you create an account you are automatically subscribed to our general newsletter, which sends product updates, launch tips, and digests. Every marketing or digest email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time at /unsubscribe/. Transactional emails about your account, submissions, payments, or security may still be sent when needed to operate the service.
Submissions and review
- You may submit only products you own, operate, or are authorized to represent.
- All launches are reviewed before publication. Payment does not guarantee publication, ranking, traffic, sales, newsletter inclusion, or approval.
- We may reject, edit, hide, reschedule, or remove submissions at our discretion, including for misleading claims, low-quality pages, illegal content, harmful products, duplicate launches, unavailable websites, intellectual-property issues, or abuse.
- Free launches may require a visible backlink badge. Badge checks are a moderation signal and do not guarantee approval or continued visibility.
Your content
You keep ownership of product content you submit. By submitting content, you give Nick Launches a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, display, distribute, resize, format, promote, and use that content in product pages, rankings, newsletters, social posts, admin tools, search, and related platform features.
Premium launches and payments
- Premium plans are one-time launch placement products. A successful Stripe charge moves a product to pending review, not directly to live.
- The premium visibility window starts when an admin approves and publishes the launch, not when payment is made.
- Premium launches may receive featured placement during the paid window, but relative ranking can still depend on product quality, upvotes, timing, moderation, and platform rules.
- You authorize Stripe and our payment processors to charge the selected plan amount and share payment status with us.
Directory submission service
- The directory submission service is a one-time paid service in which we manually submit your product to a number of third-party directory websites based on the tier you purchase. It can be bought standalone, with no account or Nick Launches launch required, or attached to an existing launch as an add-on.
- By buying the service, you confirm that you own or are authorized to represent the product you submit, and you authorize Nick Launches to submit your product information (such as name, URL, description, logo, category, and contact email) to third-party directories on your behalf.
- Targets, timelines, Domain Rating estimates, traffic estimates, and other metrics shown on marketing pages are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. We do not control whether third-party directories accept, edit, delay, or remove your listing, and we do not guarantee specific SEO outcomes, rankings, traffic, leads, or revenue.
- We select directories at our discretion based on your product, niche, and current directory availability. If a directory in our list is unavailable, rejects your product, or is otherwise unsuitable, we may substitute it with an equivalent alternative so that the total submission count for your tier is met.
- Delivery windows shown at checkout are typical, not contractual deadlines. Some directories review submissions manually, so completion of the full tier and the final report can take additional time.
- We will provide a report listing the directories submitted to, the resulting links where available, and the status of each submission.
- You authorize Stripe and our payment processors to charge the selected tier amount and share payment status with us.
Refunds, disputes, and reversals
If a premium launch or directory submission service payment is refunded or disputed, we may revoke paid status, remove featured placement, demote or reject the product, pause or stop in-progress directory submissions, and keep transaction records needed for support, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal compliance. For the directory submission service specifically, once submissions to third-party directories have started, refunds are pro-rated at our discretion based on work already performed, and submissions already made to third-party directories cannot be unmade by us. Partial refunds are not otherwise supported unless we explicitly agree.
Prohibited content and conduct
- Do not submit illegal, deceptive, malicious, infringing, adult, hateful, harassing, or unsafe content.
- Do not manipulate rankings, votes, comments, badges, payments, duplicate detection, or review systems.
- Do not scrape, overload, reverse engineer, bypass BotID/rate limits, upload malware, or interfere with the service.
- Do not submit private data, secrets, API keys, or confidential material through product fields, comments, uploads, or AI prefill.
Third-party links and products
Listings link to third-party products and websites. We do not control those products, their claims, their security, their pricing, or their privacy practices. Use them at your own risk.
No warranties
The service is provided as is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, specific rankings, search visibility, sales, leads, revenue, uptime, or compatibility with every product page or browser.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nick Launches will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, failed launches, or business interruption.
Changes and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, pricing, plans, moderation rules, or these terms. We may remove content or terminate access when needed to protect users, the platform, or legal compliance.
