About FxSocket

FxSocket is a cloud API for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. Every broker account you connect gets its own dedicated MT4 or MT5 terminal in our cloud, and you control it through a REST API and a WebSocket stream from Python, Node.js or any language that speaks HTTP. No VPS, no MQL, no local terminal. What you can do with it: - Place, modify and close market and pending orders, including partial closes - Read balance, equity, margin, open positions and the full order and position history - Pull quotes, symbol specs and OHLC history with tick volume and per-bar spread - Stream prices, bars, account changes, positions and trades over one WebSocket per account It works with any broker that issues MT4 or MT5 logins, for live and demo accounts. FxSocket is not a broker: it logs in to your existing account with the credentials you provide and never holds, withdraws or moves funds. There are official SDKs for Python (pip install fxsocket) and Node.js / TypeScript (npm install @fxsocket/sdk), a read-only MCP server for AI agents, and named read-only API keys you can limit to selected accounts. No. Each connected account gets its own MT4 or MT5 terminal in FxSocket's cloud; you only send HTTP requests or open a WebSocket.

Does FxSocket hold my funds?
