My Experience
Based on reviewing LaunchIgniter’s flow and pricing, it feels like a Product Hunt-style weekly launch board, but with a clear incentive structure:
- Everyone gets a 1-week homepage feature during their launch window.
- Free launches can work if you’re okay waiting and adding a badge, but the dofollow backlink is only for Top 3 that week.
- If your goal is “I need the backlink for sure”, the paid tiers are designed for that (guaranteed dofollow backlink on a DR 71 domain).
Submission Process
- Go to the Submit flow and sign in / create an account.
- Click Submit and fill your listing:
- product name, description, category, screenshots, and the website link.
- Choose how you want to launch:
- Free launch ($0): requires LaunchIgniter badge verification and typically has a 3 months wait.
- Basic ($6.99)/ Pro ($9.99): paid options that skip the wait and include a guaranteed two dofollow backlinks.
- Pick your launch week (LaunchIgniter runs on weekly cycles).
- Launch week: engage with comments, reply fast, and share your page to drive upvotes.
Tips for Success
- Treat it like a “launch week campaign”: prepare a short post, screenshots, and 1–2 social announcements before your week starts.
- Ask for feedback (not just upvotes): feedback tends to trigger more comments and visibility.
- If you’re on the free plan, focus on winning Top 3 (that’s what unlocks the backlink).
- Use crisp screenshots + one clear value prop in the first line of your description.
- Respond quickly during your 7-day window — activity helps discovery and ranking.
